~And what a Beautiful Day it was. Yes, Jason did a wonderful job at proposing :) I had no idea it was coming but it was absolutely one of the best moments that I will always cherish. Thanks for the highlights and may there be many more Beautiful Days to come.~

AnnieMull - you're right...I was only comparing the Boston crowd-o-meter noise based on previous Boston shows.

I am certain that the crowd-o-meter went off the scale at Slane!

"Overall, the audience was the loudest it's been since June 9, 2001's Elevation show in Boston. Everyone was singing along, sometimes drowning out Bono."

You mean for Boston shows, right? I don't doubt the crowd was completely nuts last night, but how can you really make such a claim without some sort of sophisticated noise-o-meter? :-)

The band have performed a gozillion shows since then, including 2 Slane gigs, which just by the number of audience members would have to be louder than a full house in the Fleet Center.

No disrespect to the hot shows in Mass., but let's keep things in perspective here...

Larry's arm was taped up on many shows (public photos clearly show it) - as for the ones I personally saw, the only concert I can remember him NOT having it on for was Seattle 1.

Larry's elbow was taped during Vancouver 1 (4/28) from his wrist to his elbow. Two of my photos is the @U2 flicker group show the tape very clearly.

The black feather boa was a $1 target purchase by my girlfriend earlier in the day. She's still talking about how cool it was that he took it and wore it for the rest of show. Shame we didn't get the Bono-sweat-soaked boa back for display. Oh well!

On Larry's elbow bandaids, they have been there for a while for the tour. I can recall seeing them and thinking that was odd back on Philly 1 (5/14).
Can anyone remember seeing them earlier?
