I'd join U2.com to buy official concert mp3s. For Elevation, we got 2 DVDs, so that was pretty good
as far as "official" live releases go. But exclusive mp3s on U2.com would add a lot of value to the $40 sub. for the fanclub. I'm always in favor of U2 releasing more material.

Posting every show woul dbe ridiculous, but posting some worthwhile shows woul dbe wonderful. Especially those classic ones from tours past. There's no reason for the band to release something like the entire. Euro leg of Vertigo, simply becasue those setlists were mostly the same. And also ZOO TV leg one for the matter.

I certainly don't care about getting the exact show I went to, especially if it was sub-par.

I'd rather the band start releasing video footgae from the vault. It's really getting wasted collecting dust.

I remember The Edge saying that U2 wasn't like Pearl Jam (when discussing the Pearl Jam boots that came out on CD) in that the setlists were not as varied for U2 shows, so it wouldn't really be worthwhile for U2 to do it.

I agree. They're perfectionists, and sometimes very poor self-editors at that (technically or otherwise). The decisions this band has chosen to make about their live material have been goofy since day 1, or since splitting up a long-ago Boston show (which we still can't get unless we buy the damn iPod).

Pearl Jam's idea is great too, but I have an even better idea .
