Breaking news: woman thinks Bono is sexy
In USA Today’s “Pop Candy” column, Whitney Matheson lists men she thinks ought to be named People magazine’s “Sexiest Man Alive.” (Warning to sensitive readers: the column contains some mild Jude Law bashing.) Our pal Bono is Whitney’s number one pick:
1. Bono. He sings! He unites! He wears leather pants! In my mind, People’s pick should be a no-brainer this year–and the fact the mag has never named a rock star the sexiest man alive makes it all the more reason why his time has come.
…Not that I spend my break time at work reading this kind of stuff.

Not as great as a Nobel mind you but that’d be sweet!
The others listed, esp. Gyllenhaal, Murray and Kanye (????) wouldn’t make it onto my list and Viggo would be a whole lot higher! And there could be a few more musicians there too. But to each their own…

someone emailed me that story yesterday and reminded me that whitney matheson has written of her bono fandom before. i believe she once wrote an artice in usa today that included her thoughts on bono’s manly smell.

Lots of people, especially men, just don’t *get* why I think Bono is bloody sexy - yeah yeah Brad and Clooney are sexy in an obvious way but gimme Bono any day! BONO FOR SEXIEST MAN ALIVE!
