They're a bunch of friggin' sellouts. I used to love them when they actually conveyed the truth...now they do nothing of the sort. Does anyone remember, "I can't believe the news today / I can't close my eyes and make it go away ... When fact is fiction and TV reality..." ??? No such lyrics now, however. Bono even partied at the Bohemian Grove this last weekend, party place of the ultra rich and powerful in Northern California (http://www.prisonplanet.com/articles/july2006/290706Grove.htm). Like so many other aging over-the-hill rock stars (eg. Aerosmith, Stones et al.), Bono's just a big, hypocritical bore now. What's next, Gap commercials? U2 are indeed NOT good sports.
