I think atu2 is an excellent and informative fan site, run by devoted fans volunteering their time. I also think that u2isable is a topnotch blogger — she always digs out interesting tidbits that most people would otherwise not be aware of. Also, note that the other post about this PBS show was posted by Tassoula, and each blog entry(Tassoula’s and u2isable’s) is different.

We all have lives, you know? We don’t all sit around memorizing what each other is posting on a daily basis. I sometimes go weeks without having time to read what’s being posted here on the blog.

Here’s an example: I just got back from a 2-week vacation. A night or two ago I sent out a news article to our mailing list, but had no idea that the article had been sent out by someone else on staff while I was gone. Oh, well….

This happens, what … maybe 1-2 times per year? Pretty amazing given the amount of news we distribute on the web site, on the blog, and/or on the mailing list.

Life goes on. Would you rather read something twice once in a blue moon, or not read it at all because we’re too afraid to post something that someone else might’ve already posted?

I like this site a lot, but don’t you guys read your own stuff to know if you have already reported on it?

I would rather read something new than something recycled.
