In an effort to encourage their citizens to reduce pollution on smoggy days, the Bay Area Quality Management District will be airing radio and TV announcements featuring U2’s song Beautiful Day.

Some may see this as another example of U2 “selling out” but when all they’re selling is a healthier world, I think it’s just further evidence of how their music helps the greater good.
