Covering Vanity Fair
Being a long-time devoted completist collector of all things U2 related, I was *so tempted* to buy 20 copies of Vanity Fair when it comes out next week so that I would have the complete collection. Then, reality hit – not only would that set me back some serious money (that I would be spending in the fall when U23D comes out), but it’s only the covers that are different…so what am I going to do with all that wasted paper besides recycle the rest?
Thanks to Vanity Fair – they’ve created a limited edition poster that contains all 20 covers. Now, I’m not one for promoting subscribing to a magazine, but the only way you can get the poster is if you subscribe. They are also guaranteeing that the Africa issue will be sent to you too – but they’re not telling you which cover you’ll receive in the mail. They are also contributing $5 for each $18 annual subscription to the (Product)Red campaign.
Just a FYI for those of you out there who may be torn about scoring all the covers for your collection.

I have a subscription already, but I’m willing to pick up copies of the magazine if people will reimburse me for them. Euros, pounds and yen will be happily accepted; otherwise, dollars. Just send an email to brendastarlet @ gmail. com with your name and address, and let me know if there are any in particular you are looking for. As soon as I spot them at my local book stores, I’ll go on a shopping trip.

I saw that you could specify which cover you wanted on Amazon.com
I’m sure too, that posters may come available on eBay but probably for alot more than a subscription.

i was just at my local Costco on Saturday and they had a whole bunch of the magazines on sale. They had almost every cover and the best part is is they are 30%off the cover price.
