With the Simpsons Movie in the news, Blender.com recently released a list of the Best Simpsons Band Cameos ever. Um, okay. I guess there is a list for everything now, huh? Even more ridiculous than the fact that there is a list of such things is the fact that U2 is not on the list. Doh.

Do these people know nothing of the the Spoon saga? Adam’s wanker comment? Bono’s bum on the bar stool?! Seriously. They was robbed.

Anyway, here’s an amusing clip from a Simpsons DVD in which the band and two Simpsons cast members (Lisa and Homer) discuss the episode that U2 appeared in. Apparently rock stars arrive late to work. And bring booze. Who knew? The clip also includes some life-sized Pop-era rock stars.
