Weird thing is, I'm already going to a free showing that night. A local group, IndyHub, put the 7:20 showing together, and I guess Best Buy is sponsoring the later showing. So I COULD go twice, but since I'm also going Saturday in Boston, I'll leave the Best Buy freebies to someone else. I got the coveted e-mail from Best Buy. Just got off the phone with Cinemark/IMAX. Was told that only a specific # of copies of the IMAX version were made to be distributed and only certain cities were selected. However, I doubt I'll get any. Perhaps the recipients were chosen based on the amount of money they've spent at Best Buy? :) In any event, the only IMAX theater in the entire state of Colorado to be showing U23D is 3 minutes away from my house, so I'm not complaining. Pick up passes at Electric Fetus stores. Pass is good for 2 admissions, but says to arrive early as seating is on a first come, first serve basis.
