I got a copy of the book in exchange for the use of the photo, and it is a fairly compressive book for the age group they are targeting.

In resonse to the question at the end with what kids think about Bono, my little sister is 10 and likes the music a lot. She makes fun of Bono, examples being when he dresses up as Mr. MacPhisto or he bites someones hand , but deep down she does like him and admires what he does which I'm pretty happy about.

He does seem like the perfect character for a series of children's books. Plenty of fuel for the imagination. I'm thinking he might be more like "Froggy" - a little unaware, very playful and focused on the moment, always doing things that cause him to be "more red in the face than green."
