<description>This book puts you right in the boat. you feel the heart pounding moments as my sister her crew and the fishermen around them struggle with the daily tasks of fishing in one of the most unforgivable self punishing job in the world. Alaskan Commercial Fishing!
        "Red Summer" A must read!

I really want to thank you Bill for writing about something I personally Love, my family and the life we live. Bill you have described it like you lived it. Very true to your stile, like some would say you cant judge me, tell you have walked a mile in my shoes. well you walked more than a mile, and for some reason you kept coming back, year after year for more punishment. I respect you for that and all that you are. But most of all I respect you for the Fishermen You have become. No matter where you go in life you can say with pride and honesty.
"I am an Alaskan Commercial Fishermen"
