I think the biggest "pee break" song during the last tour was Miracle Drug. It was like a stampede at Madison Square Garden...:)

I've noticed all these trends at gigs.

Another thing that began to annoy me at the Vertigo gigs was people bringing their children. I remember seeing them as young as 4?
I can understand a parent wanting to introduce their child to the band, but it takes away from the atmosphere, when you see crying kids, sleeping kids, etc.
Also, I'm sure the band are aware there are more kids in the audience. Surely this would make them tone down their performance.
Out with raw rock n roll and the odd cuss word so.
I really didnt like the bit in the Vertigo tour when Bono would pluck a kid from the mosh pit. What place does a six year old have in a mosh pit?
The mosh pit should be a jumpy up and down revelerous (is that a word) place. Not a place where you fear trampling the odd kid to death.

When I was at Springsteen last fall, ushers were going up and down the aisles confiscating cameras (I had one but hid it whenever I saw the jacket out of the corner of my eye.) I hope U2 doesn't follow suit.

re#5 - totally agree! I hate the Sit Down Nazi. Doubt there'd be one at a U2 show. But John Fogerty, Matchbox 20 - you betcha - see:
