Bono’s 50th birthday has gotten a lot of press coverage today, and not just a quick mention amidst a list of other famous birthdays. Michael Norman, a writer for the Cleveland Plain Dealer, compiled a great list of the 50 best Bono quotes. These are my favorites:

Very nice… in all those quotes emerges what Bono really is. And I hope that all his detractors will finally understand his irony and his humility
