A New U2 T-Shirt by Edun Live
Facebook just alerted me to a new offering by Edun Live that allows you to order a T-shirt with licensed lyrics–as long as the line starts with ‘i.’ I’m not joking.
The shirts are called i/denti/tees and there are currently nine choices up for grabs, which you can choose to put on a white or black background (and yes there are babydoll versions for the ladies).
For example, this one features U2’s “I Still Haven’t Found What I’m Looking For,” which is currently the #1 “i” lyric. They will add more lyric options as folks vote and they secure permission from the artists.
But wait, there’s more…
With each shirt purchase, iTunes (one of the project’s partners) will give the customer 10 free downloads (so really, it’s more like $25).
Not a bad deal, if you ask me.

My “istillhaventfoundwhatimlookingfor” t-shirt arrived the other day from the Hard Rock Cafe (online! I ordered the Coldplay one (“iusedtoruletheworld”) for my husband (not a U2 fan, but I love him anyway!) for under the Christmas tree.
The packaging is cool – it comes in a record album cover!
Unfortunately, I live in Canada and the 10 free downloads don’t work in the Canadian iTunes store.
