Achtung Babies
For those of you who felt Rockabye Baby had too much xylophone, but felt that Strung out on U2 was too highbrow for your lil’ one, then Babies Go U2 is for you. My chief criticism of this disc is that the full songs aren’t used. For example, “All I Want Is You” is only 2:22 long. However, my daughter doesn’t seem to mind. It calms her down just the same. The disc is available through Amazon, Zune Marketplace, and iTunes.
In case you were wondering, here’s the track listing:
1. With or Without You
2. Stuck In A Moment You Can’t Get Out Of
3. Staring At The Sun
4. All I Want Is You
5. I Still Haven’t Found What I’m Looking For
6. One
7. Miss Sarajevo
8. Beautiful Day
9. Pride In The Name Of Love
10. Sweetest Thing
11. Stay (Faraway, So Close)
12. Electrical Storm
13. Mysterious Ways
14. Where The Streets Have No Name

Huh. It never occurred to me do anything but use actual U2 songs.
I’ll admit to singing MLK on more than one occasion.
