Hi Maggie, thanks for your interest in Agnes Nyamayarwo & the women that she works with in Uganda, the Mulago Positive Women's Network (MPWN).

I have been working with Agnes for three years on this project which received the B-man's personal blessing in Sept. 2007 when I mentioned our website to him.

Please visit our website & our MySpace page for Agnes & the women of the MPWN to learn more about them.

We hope that you'll be so moved by their personal courage & dignity in "living positively" with HIV/AIDS that you'll want to purchase some of their handcrafted Ugandan items. ALL THE PROCEEDS from the sale of these items go directly to the women.

Take good care & hope to hear from you soon!

ONLY LOVE - debbie :)

Thank you for the recap m2. I was not able to be there, but I have known about Agnes for a year now. Six months ago I had the honor of hosting a fundraiser for her. I sold the beautiful handmade African dolls and jewelry the ladies of her village make. One of the greatest joys of my life was handing over the check knowing that someone's life would be saved because of it. What I did not expect was to get a personal thank you from Agnes herself! She made quite an impression on Bono and is my personal hero. Thank you for including her in the first U2 Academic Conference so that so many others would have the chance to know her story and learn about her work. She will be an inspiration for so many more people because of it. I know in my heart this made Bono very happy.
