I hate to over-quote U2, but in this case, "How long, how long must we sing this song?" has never seemed more appropriate. I don't even think the outrage is against the Burmese government so much as against the rest of the world which can't seem to make good triumph (in this and so many other instances). I hope decency and truth can overcome the weight of acceptance of the status quo. "Get up, stand up!"
