It’s quite telling, I think, that this is the lead story on their newscast. My evening news (Boston), about 10 minutes in, mentioned briefly that GWB had had a little tummy-ache and missed part of a big international meeting, where they talked about something or other about climate change and he met Vladimir Putin. And that was it for the G8.

It’s amazing how Bono can stand and talk about Canada not giving there fair share or not enough money to what he deems is important. He seems to really take this cause to heart, it really means something to him. So he wants countries to dish out money to help, which then causes our(taxpayers) taxes to go up to help pay for his cause, thats so near and dear to him. While he is living the rich life, he want evveryone one else to dole out their cash. I wonder how much of his cash is being put into this cause. Since this cause is so important to him, he should me dishing out half of what he makes. Remember Mr.Bono about all those poor people with Aids in Africa that are living in poor conditions, while you are living in some big house, living the high life. You could live on half of what you make and still be living the high life, so really since this cause means so much to YOU!..Put your money where your big mouth is!!!!

Remember that quote about how charity doesn’t count unless no one knows about it? “Don’t let your right hand know what your left is doing”? Bono has said that he lives by that principle, and you know, he probably does a lot of things that we don’t know about it. How unclassy would it look if he announced every week on the cover of Us that he was building an orphanage in Kenya? But maybe he does do that kind of thing, and we don’t hear about it. Hm?
