Bono, the Film Producer

Variety reports that Bono is set to co-produce a new film called The Virgin of Las Vegas with Parallel Pictures’ Alan Moloney.

The movie will focus on the former popularity of show bands in the Irish culture and star Liam Neeson. Friend of U2, Barry Devlin of the Horslips, is writing the screenplay.

No word yet on whether Bono will make a cameo appearance as he did in The Million Dollar Hotel (2000).
