I just saw this trailer for Baz Luhrmann’s adaptation of the American literary classic The Great Gatsby, coming this Christmas. And yep, they are using Jack White’s cover of “Love is Blindness” from the Ahk-Toong-Bay-Bi CD (which comes right after a bit of Kanye West & Jay-Z’s “No Church in the Wild.”) A brilliant choice of a cover, if you ask me. And I like casting Tobey Maguire as Nick Carraway too.

I can’t wait to see this, old sports. Kind of funny how similar it looks to the 1970′s version with Robert Redford and Mia Farrow though.
