As mentioned, U2′s “Get On Your Boots” was featured in the NFL Network’s Super Bowl ad:

Personally, my favorite Super Bowl ad is an older one that’s aired long before the big game. Picture U2′s road crew and how cool it would be if you were flying with them:

Could you maybe post a youtube version since Hulu can’t be watched internationally… cheers…

As of the moment, neither can be found on YouTube. However, nbc.com does have the ads…perhaps these will work for you internationally. I was not aware that Hulu wouldn’t allow international viewing, especially if it was embedded.

NFL.com is showing all the ads outside the US (or at least in Canada)

The commercial is promoting NFL Network, a cable network here in the US that’s owned by the NFL and shows football programming ’round the clock. (I call it “heaven.”) :-)

the videos with GOYB music can’t be watched here in the Philippines while the others can be. i wonder why it’s like that.

@DCH: I don’t have any trouble watching video on the BBC News site. As for the spot, let me describe it for you:

Audio: U2 singing, “Get on Your Boots, Yeah” several times.

    Video: Football players running.

    That’s kind of it.

thanks for that description. at least my consolation is that there’s no Bono’s face. if there had been, i would surely cry for not having seen it. :)

No Bono. And actually, not that much of the song.

The ‘Roadies’ spot is one of my favorites too – I think because they cast the parts just right. Love the steward guy giving the pre-flight – “Put this here, click, We’re out of here, dude..”. This is really all the info you need to get going, isn’t it?

The U2 song insert was a very small chopped out version of the single on a loop. I don’t think anybody would’ve recognized it if they weren’t big U2 fans. It’s edit for the ad was not all that great. There really weren’t a lot of good ads that were played, come to think of it, which is surprising because they cost so much.
