Get Well, Paul McGuinness
Just stumbled on this while keeping up-to-date on material for an updated version of U2: A Diary (which I hope will happen, but don’t know for sure):
According to the Ardmayle blog, Paul McGuinness hurt himself a couple Sundays back in a fall off a horse. Ouch.
It happened before McGuinness gave a speech opening a new art exhibit by his godson, Rocco Tullio.

I saw this pic: http://i133.photobucket.com/albums/q41/adrisoullove/Dublin-viagem%20dos%20sonhos/DSC08772.jpg about two weeks ago on the Brazilian forum Ultraviolet (http://www.ultraviolet-u2.com/foruns/showthread.php?t=7081). The photo has been removed but it says McGuinness broke his arm while riding a horse.
LOL. The horse was just getting back at him for what his fat arse did to the horse’s back!
Oh man, I am having a severe instance of schadenfreude.
I was “in the heart” during a Chicago show in October of 2001, all of a sudden, I felt someone move by me (I was right by the “exit”). I looked over and it was PAUL McGuiness! I was kind of freaking out. Well, of course, I had nothing with me for him to sign. But I noticed he had a cast on his foot. Poor guy, a little accident prone?
