I did that with my now 6-year-old sister a couple years ago. She knew the names of everyone from U2 and the lyrics to Vertigo before she was out of diapers.
“Brookie, what’s the best band in the world?”
“Uuuh, yoooo tooooooooo!!!”
“What are their names?”
“Mmmm…….Warry, Adam, Edge, and…..Bono!!!!!”
It was adorable.
I know what you mean, Erika. My youngest could pick out each band member on my Elevation Tour t-shirt before he could say their names.
Can’t wait to take both my boys to U23D next month!
I watched Popmart live from Mexico with all my 3 youngest cousins – 6, 4 & 3… I told them it’s a cartoons and when they saw Bono doing that guitar swirling in the air they all loved it
… and I’m 13! lol
Make the next generation U2 fans!!!
my kids all knew R&H by heart by the time they were 10! Actually, it is one of the few U2 projects they still like.
…and happiness is your 7 year old belting out “Stay” at the top of his lungs and hitting every note…
