Magnificent Single

Declan passed along this info to us – looks like the next single appears to be “Magnificent.” Radio stations will have an edited version of the song to play based on the promo single that’s hitting mailboxes.

    it needs to be edited — it’s pushing 5 and a half minutes! wayyy too long for radio. besides, i’d love to hear a three minute version of magnificent — imagine that song wound up tight like a pop-corn kernal bursting to pop. that’d be AWESOME.

    Bono mentioned in NY it might be Crazy as the 3rd single.
    also said 3-4 singles would be released.

    My buddy asked him why Boots first, he wouldn’t answer.

    An edited version is a must for radio airplay, specially if it is going to try to fight it out with all the pop and hiphop.

    The intro, though cool, is too long for radio play, so that’ll be trimmed down for sure.
