Man Charged for Impersonating Secret Service at U2 Gig
It was reported today that a man who gained entry to the US Department of Health and Human Services by posing as a secret service member first attempted the trick at a Massachusetts U2 concert last September.
46-year-old Frederick Nickerson pleaded guilty a few months ago to charges of disorderly conduct, trespassing and impersonating a public official. Stadium security promptly called police after Nickerson (perhaps trying to purport his myth) repeatedly asked to see the Fire Marshall. They realized he did not have a ticket to the Gillette Stadium show, nor was his badge real, and he was arrested shortly thereafter.
No word on how far he got into the US Department of Health and Human Services.

Considering the Gillette shows didn’t sell out he could have purchased tickets legally, or from a scalper the day of the show fairly cheap.
