I went to a Patriots game in 2007 and my ticket was just as ugly. Hot pink instead of purple with SRO in the background. Maybe those of us who don't have an actual seat get the ugly ones. I have both seats and GAs for Gillette, and the seated tickets do not have the solid color background. I assume it's to easily distinguish the GAs from all others. Previous ticketmaster tickets for North American shows were your standard gray or blueish ticket, but you could at least read the imprint on the ticket. As many hold onto their ticket stubs as a collectible, this ticket design looks like someone created it in Microsoft Word. It just looks ugly!
