U2’s 2010 tour to hit Michigan State Univ.?
First, take this with the obvious grain of salt. Until an official announcement is made, U2’s tour plans are anyone’s guess. And this is far from official.
What am I talking about? Well, there are two web sites listing a U2 concert at Michigan State University’s Spartan Stadium next year. The first listing is on StubHub:
If you click the link above and then scroll down to the stadium seating map, you’ll see a drop-down menu that lists U2 as one of the choices. Unfortunately, choosing “U2″ just leads to a similar page that says “Seat Map Coming Soon.”
The other site is Eventful, an events search engine and directory. It has a page that says U2 will play Spartan Stadium on July 8, 2010.
It’s interesting, if nothing else. I wouldn’t put a lot of stock in it yet … but, on the other hand, these are reputable web sites we’re talking about, not “Jimmy’s House of Tickets” or some such thing that no one’s ever heard of.

OMG I am a Spartan and a huge U2 fan. I’d be graduated by then…but if they came to my school….WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
maybe this is the “exciting news” that U2.com will reveal in a few days…
I got this email from them today and it ends with:
“That’s it for now, enjoy the site – and here’s a big hint…. you might want to check back on U2.com in the next few days for some pretty exciting news! (Our lips are sealed…)”
