A Beautiful Day in Space?

From NASA’s Space Rock web page:

The wakeup song has been a part of the space program since the days of the Apollo missions, and now NASA is giving you two chances to be a part of this history! We need your help selecting wakeup songs to be played during the final missions of the Space Shuttle Program!

At the time of this posting, “Beautiful Day” is in the lead.

As of 11:10 p.m. EDT, U2′s still in 3rd place with “Countdown” by Rush and the Star Trek theme ahead of it. C’mon U2 fans, surely we can beat the trekkies at this! (Sadly, the Star Wars theme was in 9th place.) VOTE! :)

This is my friend’s fav U2 song. He told me that after I sang City of Blinding Lights for a campfire talent show with my (homesick) little brother. If no one will vote for it WE will!
