Bono: “Africa rising / Angélique Kidjo shining like a sun ray”

Angélique Kidjo’s new cut of Curtis Mayfield’s “Move On Up,” featuring Bono (with those first words in the song) and John Legend, is streaming on her website. Give it a listen.

Bono’s got way more lines than I thought he would; such as, “Move it, move it, move it, move it, move it.”

Does Springfield, OH, still claim John Legend as their hometown boy? If so, hey John! I’m just down the road here in Xenia. Well done.

I think that they have pulled this song and the others. I listened to it yesterday but when I went back to this same link, it only pulled up her site but not the songs.

Correction to my previous comment- it seems it is still posted but the error was due to my intermittent internet over the last 36 hrs. Sorry.
