Bono Is In The WikiLeaks Cables
How awesome is this? You know those private US diplomatic cables that were recently released via WikiLeaks? Bono is in them!
According to The Guardian, a memo from a US diplomat in Rome said the Italian government might increase its aid to Africa “to avoid an embarrassing tongue-lashing from Bono et al.” Have a look for yourself:

The document was written back on July 23, 2008, and you can read it in full here if you’re interested.
Imagine … GRAMMY winner, Golden Globe winner, OSCAR nominee, Nobel Peace Prize nominee, and now the star of a WikiLeaks cable, too.
Only Bono.
Seriously, Dos Equis should redo all those “Most Interesting Man in the World” TV commercials and they should make Bono the subject.

The really funny thing is that in the whole cable, only paragraph 6 is actually classified. [(U) = Unclassified, (C) = Confidential] That’s the part we’re not supposed to know - whatever they may say, world leaders really are afraid of Bono!
Wow, thanks for the news!
Not so sure about this being good for Bono. Wikileaks association can go either way.
