Here’s a couple of quick news items.
Some of you (like me) probably hit, or will hit, a Coldplay concert. In a recent interview, Lead singer Chris Martin kidded about Bono creating havoc with their gear at a show. He quickly added, “We’re joking, by the way. They’re [U2] the best band on the planet.” Here is the story.
The Vancouver Sun reports that Canada’s Vision TV will be airing a documentary tonight (Friday, May 4) entitled, Bruce Cockburn, Pacing the Cage. Bono leads off the doco with lyrics from “If I Had A Rocket Launcher.” I hope some of our Canadian friends can watch and let us know what they think. Here is the film’s info page.
UPDATE: Some of you will be able to view portions of the Cockburn documentary at the following this link, others will be blocked due to location.

Can’t view the Bruce Cockburn video yet…hope it becomes available in the US.
I was a Cockburn fan long before I became interested in U2. I have always wondered what, if any, the relationship was between him and U2. Rocket Launcher and Bullet the Blue Sky are so close in theme I figured there must be a connection.
