Larry Mullen’s Millisecond Timing

According to producer Brian Eno, drummer Larry Mullen’s timing is sharper than a computer. Eno made this discovery during the recording of the album All That You Can’t Leave Behind when he used a click track to keep the beat.

    I read once in U2 by U2 that at a certain early point of their career Larry accepted to use the click track in order to improve his technique… well, we can say that he has improved a lot! :-)
