Not sure exactly where these came from (possibly Brazilian TV?), but the folks at U2News have uploaded proshot videos of the first three songs that U2 played Wednesday night in Sao Paulo.

Bono’s voice is shot. He’s speaking the songs more than singing them. His energy is zapped. Thank God for Edge, Larry and Adam, who are keeping the band musically afloat. Sad and embarrassing, given the ticket prices I’ve paid for the Seattle show. I’d sell them, but the show isn’t sold out. What has happens to my favorite band? Time call it quits?
