Scattered Thoughts: I Believe …

I believe all of you have already seen this:

I believe I have watched that video more than 100 times since yesterday. I believe there is not a whole lot to it, but still I quite like it.

I believe I am now actually believing a new album is not that far away. (The Edge wouldn’t lie to his mom, would he?)

I believe the lyrics to the above tune are interesting. I believe Bono changed them a little.

I believe U2′s version of this song is mostly just made up of simple Edgeness, but I believe I like Larry’s little flourish near the end.

I believe Adam was not too busy during the recording of this song. I believe he didn’t mind.

I believe Bono stole Brandon Flowers’ eyeliner. I believe he needs some help applying it more deftly next time. I believe I volunteer.

    That eyeliner is definately not his best look. Jaysus, what was he smoking?

    The song was pretty uninspiring too (but I’m not into X-mas music either).

    I believe all that eyeliner blocked out some of the words on the teleprompter.

    I don’t actually think he’s wearing eyeliner. I think it’s a trick of the light, the way the shadows cross his face. The video has very unique lighting.

    It’s probably not eyeliner but the remains of a black eye that Larry gave him when told he’d be shaking those bells. He doesn’t look happy about it.

    I loved it!!! The lightshow totally turned me on-remembering Vertigo/Chicago like it was yesterday and my own attempt at creating a “lightshow.” Not too happy that U2 is not ready to release new cd in time for Christmas….All I want for Christmas is Bono and new music…now really, that’s not asking for too much is it???

    maybe new teleprompter shades scrolling the lyrics in black????

    No problems here with anything on the video - the boys look very ready for the next cycle.
