Some U2 Ticket Sellers are Crazy

If you go to StubHub right now, you can get some lower level tickets for the U2 360 concert in Philadelphia for the low, low price of …

u2 tickets

15 THOUSAND dollars??!!??

How crazy is this seller? You have to be living in some alternate universe to think anyone’s gonna spend that much on a concert ticket. Unbelievable. Quick! Only 102 days left to buy these tickets!

(BTW, this isn’t meant as an anti-StubHub post. I’ve used StubHub in the past and appreciate their site and service. This is just about what one U2 ticket seller thinks his goods are worth. Wow.)

Wow… My 4 tickets for that same concert are in a similar location, but on the opposite side. If this seller gets his/her asking price, I may have to sell my tickets to pay for a year or two of my kids’ college education!

I’d better be watching the show sitting on Edge’s Vox amp for that price!

hey everyone. u2 has been doing lots of ticket drops for each show. about a month before the show, tickets drop every couple of days. i saw them, i was directly next to the stage, nine rows up. the tickets showed up the day of the show. i was surrounded by fan club members who bought through the presale. i think i was in the “fan club” section, because *everyone* was in that section. i can’t stand all night, so i needed a seat. and it was the best section in the house. first level off the floor, directly next to the stage, completely unobstructed view, 9th row! they are doing ticket drops, even if the show is sold out, it is not sold out! they are holding back tickets for every single price point, so wait until the show gets closer and camp out on ticketmaster all week at work or something. or hit ticketmaster just after midnights or just after 8 am. seriously, it was sold out, and then the next day, my seat next to the stage on the ninth row. don’t buy from scalpers!

    hahaha

In a lovely but sick way, the seller may have been thinking that U2 is so great, one ticket to watch them is worth thousands.
