Spider-Man Killed Off By Marvel Comics

It was announced that the upcoming “Ultimate Comics Spider-Man” issues 153 & 154 (due in February) will focus on the death of Spider-Man. So, what Broadway couldn’t do, Marvel Comics did. The timing coincidentally coincides with the formal opening of Spider-Man: Turn Off the Dark. Oh the irony!

It’s not the mainstream universe Spider-man they are killing off but rather an alternate universe Spider-man they are killing off. The “Ultimate” universe is a series of books about a different universe than the regular one where some things are familiar and others are wildly different.

I can’t help but noticing some similarities with my own life… “a different universe than the regular one where some things are familiar and others are wildly different.” :-)
Or as George said in Yellow Submarine: “it’s all in the mind”
