Supporting Larry On Tour
Larry fans have been quite protective of their favorite drummer, so whenever discussion comes up about how Hitman is doing on tour, there’s some concern about if his tendinitis may be flaring up or if his back is bothering him. You might recall a report about how drummers are more athletic than even football players, like David Beckham.
My friend, Ayaz, has been following U2 around on the 360 tour and snapped this photo. You’ll see from the photo and the one just after it that there is a support bandage on the back of Larry’s neck. It’s much like the support bandages Larry wore on the last tour.
Anyone out there know what may be the issue with our lad Mullen? It’s a bit too big to be a nicotine patch and a bit too even to be an area he missed with sunblock. And, it’s too far down to be pulling the skin from his face back to make him look even younger than he already looks. Thoughts?

Looks like kinesio-taping and is pretty common among athletes nowadays. Not much to worry about…
Hmm, I hope he’s ok. It looks like the heat patches I use when I am in pain.
I thought it had something to do with the drum that he carries around the outer ramp by a strap around his neck during ‘Crazy’… Preventative?
Donna, now I am really curious - that makes a lot of sense! I bet that’s the right reason.
