Take these shoes… and make them fit
During one of the shows in Brussels, Bono exclaimed that “this tour is run by Belgians” because there are so many Belgians on the crew. But it wasn’t just people; the stage was also made by a Belgian company. Now it turns out Larry has added something less visible to that mix: orthopedic insoles.
According to a local Belgian newspaper, he went to a specialized shop in Belgium last May to get custom-made insoles. Apparently, Larry’s back was troubling him so his physiotherapist advised him to take a trip to the Runners Service Lab, in a small Belgian town.
The plan was to get Larry there in secret while the shop was closed, but he arrived a bit late, so in the end several other clients were present. But, luckily for him, nobody recognized him and afterwards, he left the store a happy man.
With Larry’s history of back problems, let’s hope this measure worked out for him.
Thanks to Philip and Christel for the tip!

Wow, that’s a cool story! I’m a long-time U2 fan and low-back pain-sufferer. Does anyone remember an article years ago mentioning a specific book on back pain that Larry claimed changed his life? I’ve searched high and low for it since first reading it online but haven’t run across it again.
Go Belgians!!
just a thought - I think larry will be ok - he sits when working
