VIDEO: Bono teases fans with talk of indoor tour, b-sides played live
This video is about a month old, but we’re just catching up to it now. A fan shot the video in Sao Paulo last month as Bono signed autographs.
At about the 28-second mark, a fan asks Bono to play “Love Comes Tumbling,” and that prompts Bono to start talking about possibly doing some indoor shows on the next tour and how indoor shows are better suited for playing rare tracks.
The quote:
“If we do an indoor tour, we might play lots of those b-sides and that kind of material. I think, when you’re in a smaller place, you can try those kind of b-sides. Do you think that would be a good idea?”
Dude is such a tease…

It’s a great idea. From Bono lips to Edge’s guitar…Adam’s bass…and Larry’s drums.
When they do indoor tours, do they usually come to far-off places like New Zealand? Or do we only get the stadium stuff?
NZ and Aus only get Stadium shows, and therefore more standard shows. I tried but failed to get autographs from Bono last year in Aus.. cause woud definitely told him to play something rare/specific (ie, POP TUNE!).
the band in my head is DEFINITELY playing a striptease
I think the next tour will be a mixture of indoor and outdoor gigs. As Bono said the indoor gigs will be a good opportunity to out those rare and never before played tracks (ACROBAT) .
Why aren’t they playing Glastonbury ( the song ) ? what a tune!!
